Peter Gough

My career spans over 40 years, the majority of which has been spent in the public service primarily in managing organizations and developing and implementing policy in human resources, financial management. Latterly I have focused on governance, public sector reform, criminal justice and constitutional issues.

My last 31 years has been spent in the Caribbean developing and implementing public sector reform strategies covering financial management reform, personnel reform, civil service reform and governance reform of public authorities.

My previous roles have been Budget Director and Deputy Financial Secretary. I retired as Deputy Head of the Civil service in 2008 and have continued working in advisory capacity as Strategic Advisory to the Deputy Governor and as Management Support Advisor.

I am currently at Lecturer at the Cayman Islands Civil Service College.

I am a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management and and CIPD.
