The responsibilities of public servants are set out in Section 19. The impact of section 19 on the way government conducts its business is extremely significant. \nIt is unlawful for public servants to make decisions that are incompatible with our Bill of Rights and those human rights treaties that have been extended to the Cayman Islands. \nSub section (1) states “that all decisions and acts of public officials must be lawful\, rational\, proportionate and procedurally fair”. \nWhere a decision or an act adversely affects the interests of a person\, Section 19 (2) states “Every person has the right to request and be given written reasons for that decision or act” \n  \nRegistration is now full URL:https://csc.gov.ky/event/new-employee-orientation-september-13-2022/ END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
